Spiral, the debut album from Scottish retro-pop vocal trio Juniper Three, arrives on Thursday 21st of May, with a launch event at The Bungalow, Paisley.

A striking collection of wistful melodies, catchy hooks, soul-infused rhythms and stunning jazz- inspired harmonies, Spiral nods to the sonic soundscape of the 1970s and to nostalgic 1990s pop melodies. The lyrics are similarly eclectic, with the trio drawing on personal experiences of life, loss, love and growth.

DEBUT EP

Released in October 2023, Juniper Three's debut EP garnerered wide praise and radio plays from local stations.
 

It is a stripped-back, intimate recording that gives the feel of a live session. Simplicity is key, with the trio’s lush, seamless harmonies very much front and centre, supported by a delicate piano accompaniment. Stylistically the album moves effortlessly between through-composed folk melodies, catchy pop hooks, soul infused musings and jazz inspired harmonic structures to create a sonic space of warmly spiced hygge.
